Alerte...


Voilà un message que tous les étudiants du campus ont reçu. La tentative d'enlèvement a eu lieu à quelques mètres de mon bâtiment, soit un lieu que je traverse plusieurs fois par jour. La dernière fois c'est dans mon bâtiment qu'il y a eu agression.
Pourtant je ne me sens pas menacée dans ma vie de tous les jours et il ne m'est rien arrivé. Est-ce que statistiquement la plupart des campus ont une agression par mois ? Je ne veux pas tirer de conclusion hâtive, mais c'est tout de même un peu effrayant...



Crime Alert


The University Police Department would like to notify the campus

community of a crime reported to them today. A female student told

authorities that at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, she was grabbed as

she walked through the Village housing area. According to the woman,

the man released her when she sprayed him with mace. The person is

described as 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall' with a muscular
build. According to the

student, he is either tan, Hispanic, or a black male with light skin. He
was

wearing a long-sleeved jacket, possibly a sweatshirt, and smelled of

cigarettes.



This notice is intended to make the campus community aware of the

report. Anyone with any information on this crime or any crime on

campus should call the University Police Department at 620-2800.
